Do you love movies? Would you love to see movies for free? The Screenwave International Film Festival (SWIFF) is returning to Coffs Harbour and Bellingen this January and is seeking volunteers (18+) who are after the opportunity to see new and exciting films (for free!), meet other cinema buffs, and help make the festival a warm and wonderful experience.
 
Roles Available: Aside from being the face of the festival these are the
key roles available for volunteers
• Venue Attendant
-Ushering, ticket collection and attending sessions
• Bar attendant
- Selling drinks and snacks and cash handling (current RSA required)
• Special Guest Chauffer
- A special position for a special person! Involves helping with travel for the festival’s guests, and assisting the Guest Coordinator.
• Set up/Pack down
- Helping to set up for special events, the Opening Night Gala (Jan 10), the Industry Connect Event (Jan 22) and the Closing Night Gala (Jan 25). Pack
down for these events may be the next day.
• Pre- Festival Work
- Distribution of flyers and posters around Bellingen and Coffs Harbour.
• SWIFF Light Box Helping Hand
- Helping the crowds enjoy the stunning new SWIFF Light Box project safely, directing parking.
Rewards: You get to be part of the action!! SWIFF volunteers will also receive one free admission per 4 hour minimum shift. Plus, added perks at special events!
